Blue Mountains History Tours

About Us

‘Blue Mountains History Tours’ has been operating since 1996 and was founded by Paul Innes. Formerly trading under the name 'Discover the Blue Mountains with B.M. Tours', we changed our name in 2013 to more suit what we do. Prior to that, Paul taught History, English and Drama for 17 years. He has also travelled throughout Asia and Europe on several occasions.

Paul has lived permanently in the Blue Mountains since 1986; and his deep interest in the history of Australia's Blue Mountains is obviously reflected in the day tours he conducts throughout this exceptional part of the world.

It should be added that Paul's historical day tours are always based on thorough research; as well as many stories collected and authenticated over the years.

As well as conducting the day tours himself, Paul is assisted by a number of local tour guides including Helen Johnston, as well as local, published historians, such as John Low.

Each day he endeavours to always take into consideration the unique character of each person, or each group who travel with 'Blue Mountains History Tours'.

Paul regularly contributes history articles to the Scenic World Tourist newspaper. To visit their website, click on the following link.
