Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Are there minimum or maximum numbers on a tour?

A. The minimum number is one. There is no maximum number on tours.

Q. Are there set times or days for the tours?

A. There are no set times or days. Contact us, and we’ll work out a time/day to suit you.

Q. How do I book a tour?

A. Tours can be booked online via the contact form, or by phoning us.

Q. Will the tour be cancelled if it rains?

A. Depending on the tour, if the tour is indoors than no.
If the tour is outdoors then yes if it is heavy rain; otherwise we can enjoy the experience of walking in the rain.

Q. Is there a cancellation fee?

A. We don’t charge a deposit, nor have cancellation fees. Our tours are too good to cancel.
However we do ask for at least 24 hours’ notice before cancelling.

Q. Can I take photos on the tour?

A. Yes

Q. Can a tour be recorded?

A. We prefer people not to record a tour or talk, unless prior arrangements are made.

Q. I have old photos at home of the Blue Mountains that are going to be thrown out. Would you like them?

A. Yes. Any old photos or stories are gladly accepted.
If you wanted to keep them we can scan them on the day or on the tour and then return them to you.
We have found old stories of the area are becoming rarer and we try and record as many as we can.

Q. I have an elderly parent in a wheelchair. What tour would be suitable?

A. The Carrington Hotel tour and Scenic World rainforest tour would be the best options.
The Carrington Hotel tour is a great tour for elderly people and is the least strenuous tour.

Q. Are the tours suitable for young children?

A. Yes. Most tours are pram friendly, except for Mt York.
Mt York also has a relatively steep ascent and is suitable for primary school age and above,
or for parents with strong arms and a good back to carry the child back up the hill.
